Since 2017, I serve as an Assistant Professor in Physical Chemistry (Department of Chemistry) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I also serve as a Long-term Visiting Researcher at University of Oxford (Clarendon Laboratory)  within Prof. Henry J. Snaith’s (FRS) Group.

I took my PhD from the National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos (Greece), working on dye-sensitized solar cells, while being a visiting researcher for one year, acquiring hands-on experience on micro-Raman spectroscopy and various transient photoelectrochemical techniques at the CNRS-University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France). In 2014, I moved to  University of Oxford (Clarendon Laboratory) to work on perovskite solar cells with Prof. Henry J. Snaith (FRS) under a Marie Curie IEF fellowship grant. In 2010 I was elected as Lecturer at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, but I was officially appointed by mid 2015.

Besides research, I teach several Physical Chemistry labs (fundamentals of physical chemistry, reaction kinetics, basic thermodynamics) to various Schools in the University such as in Chemistry, Biology and Geology. I also teach  Semiconductor Photoelectrochemistry  in a postgraduate level.
