Our research is focused on the catalytic organic transformations, photo-catalyzed by metal oxygen anion clusters polyoxometalates (e.g. W10O324-, PW12O403-, SiW12O403-), as well as catalyzed by metal nanoparticles (e.g. Au, Ag, Fe, Cu NPs) supported on inorganic mesoporous assemblies.
Mechanistic studies under homogeneous and heterogeneous conditions and possible synthetic approaches in the polyoxometalate photocatalyzed reactions and in the noble metal catalyzed reactions in organic chemistry, are also investigated.
Mesoporous nanocomposite frameworks and nanoparticle assemblies were used as supports even to enhanced the catalytic activity or for the evaluation of product selectivity for possible synthetic application.
